The Marketing Depot Announces Hideously Heinous
Logo Competition

ST. CHARLES, MISSOURI
- The Marketing Depot, a new marketing services firm that specializes
in serving small and middle-market companies, is seeking stinking
logos. The firm has announced its inaugural Hideously Heinous Logo
Competition in an effort to showcase its services and offer local
businesses the opportunity to upgrade their current corporate logo.
The Marketing Depot is accepting entries through
February 29. The agency will choose one winning (or is that losing?)
Hideously Heinous Logo. The winner will receive a free logo makeover.
Additionally, any firm that enters the contest (or simply requests
the discount) will receive a 25% discount on the development of
a logo/corporate identity package.
"As we have introduced ourselves to potential
clients, one of the first questions I get from them is 'Do you do
logos? I hate my logo and really want to get it professionally done,'"
said Tim Rasmussen, president of The Marketing Depot.
Rasmussen says smaller businesses often develop
their own logos because they have not usually had access to affordable
professional marketing services.
"I thought it would be a fun way to introduce
The Marketing Depot to potential customers," he said. "We
want them to know there is a viable marketing services firm out
there that is set up to serve smaller companies."
