The Marketing Depot Takes Top International Creative Award
for its New Website

The Marketing Depot has won a 2004 Summit Creative Award® in recognition of its outstanding creative work. The firm won the award for its new corporate website, which can be visited at www.themarketingdepot.com.

The site was designed by Patrick Sheehan, a graphic designer and web developer for The Marketing Depot. Sheehan said the new site design was "inspired by client feedback that our strategic focus was of real value to them."

"Our old site focused on depth and breadth of service. While the new one still does that, it does it while reinforcing the strategic intent of our work," said Tim Rasmussen, president of The Marketing Depot.

The Summit Creative Awards competition was created in 1994 to recognize exceptional work by advertising agencies, video production companies, multimedia firms and other creative groups with annual billings of $15 million or less. It is the only opportunity such firms have to compete internationally. This year's competition received approximately 3,000 entries from 20 countries.

Agencies from the following countries were represented in the competition: Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, India, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, The Netherlands, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and The West Indies.

Entries in 16 creative categories were judged against a stringent set of standards. Judges looked for innovative and creative concepts, strong executions and the ability to communicate and persuade.
